We are passionate about creating a Zero Waste shopping experience in Murray Hill, Jacksonville. We will offer organic dry goods and local seasonal produce from natural farmers. We will carry beans, lentils, rice, nuts, seeds, fruits, vegetables and basic household products like soap and toothpaste.
We would not be able to make all this happen without Aaron Campbell. This board member and co-founder has had over 5 years of natural foods experience, working as a grocery manager and customer service supervisor. His expertise and vision inspired this project to begin.
Aaron’s other half in business and in life, Candice Crawford, has had over 5 years experience in Permaculture and regenerative agriculture. She has used these skills to help non-profit organizations install and maintain public gardens and food forests.
Together, these experts will create a Zero waste shopping experience that will benefit Jacksonville and the future generations to come.
The best part of shopping package free is the price point! It cost less for the farmers and therefore it cost less for the consumers. Our priority to this community is to provide high quality local food at an affordable price.
Bringing Food Forests is a nonprofit organization that has been serving the community for years by teaching permaculture principles and growing public food forests. Candice Crawford has been the permaculture designer with them since the beginning. Together, with the help of the community we have created Somer’s Garden in Orange Park, Florida, to honor Somer Thompson.
Somer’s garden is open to the public for anyone to come plant or harvest. We have a monthly volunteer day where we plant and harvest together. Please hit the button below for more information on volunteering!
